of thoes so called music industry insiders until you read this article. I know you’ve heard the lies that they tell you like: if you only have a manager, I know some people who can get your career off the ground, or my favorite, if you only have a bit of training that I can help you with that.I m ‘so sick and tired of wannabes leaching off of talented people with a dream, so in the music industry. Well, I’ll give you my 3P for Breaking into the Music Industry

So you have a dream to be the next big thing in the music industry?. Before you answeer that question, let me tell you, the only thing you really need, besides a bit of talent (emphsis at least) is the heart to do it. That’s it, because after I gave 3P for Breaking into the Music Industry you will have everything you need. I want you to think of it as a plan is very easy for you to succeed, or better yet, the building blocks for your career. I say that because if there is something wrong with your career just check your 3P. Yes that is really simple.

OK people here’s what you have read this for.Without long preamble further here is your 3P to break into the music industry.They are:

1.Produce2.Promote3.Protect

Generate-I do not care if you are a singer, drummer, Raper, or just a backup singer, you need to know how basic about music production.Don ‘t be afraid, most of you reading this some kind of music to make your own or recording software already. It is important to your success because it gives you total control over some or sound that you are trying to make.This will also teach you how to catch thoes ideas that will make you a star

. Promoting

-What good is having all that cool new music without people knowing about it.This is where you go from nothing to cleberity last night and this is also where momey started in.

Protect-With all this fame is found new and great glory comes responsiblity, you must protect your self.I never seen snakes on a plane but I have seen snakes in the game. So I can not stress this enougth.Other than copyrighting (witch is a no brainer) never entered the agreement without the need for proper contract.You contract for the right job. Do not be stupid, you need to protect all the hard work you are doing

Well there is. You have it, 3P for Breaking into the Music Industry. Now go and make some noise !!!

im 18 yo lad who absolutely lives for music! i love to sing but i know my singing is not up to standards of modern artists!
i would love to have a career in the music business-whether it was video director, writer, finding new artists…. anything!
eventually i would love to have my own record label.
problem is i dont have a clue how to break into music industry pleez help!

    @MCLOVIN50 What I would do if i where you is 1: mic up your amp, 2 reverse the video so it looks like you play right-handed and 3 try to talk sometimes, because there are 1000′s of great channels with great musical quality and stuff like that, but take a loot at chappers he does it in a very funny way, and that’s what people want to see.

    @lantyboy696 i would say do it on a mac because garage band has everything you would need and more, all you need is a mic of some sort and your on your way.

    produce some of your own tracks,write some songs,get a group of friends who like to sing and write songs for them and you can try to make them famous starting out on youtube

    To get in the door at big music companies like the major labels or major music publishers / management companies / agencies etc usually takes a bit of luck and experience. My suggestion to you would be twofold. If you want to work in the music business go find an artist who you can help in someway and don’t charge them for your services just to get experience. Go manage a local band or produce some videos and use the relationship with this band or project to meet everyone in the industry that you possibly can. If you are still in school get an internship at a music company. Your first priority must be having a plan and then after that plan networking like hell to find the people who can help you realize your goals.
