But at the same time, I loooooove to take pictures and use photoshop so I want to take Photography. Which one would you choose? Have you taken any of these classes? How was your experience? Thanks!

I suggest theatre ! You can always do photography in your spare time, or take it later on when you have an open spot in your schedule. Theatre is fun and I loved it(:

thanks about the book, regarding pc or mac. in effect it doesnt really matter as i use adobe lightroom which works fine on both and the same with GIMP. apple i find to confusing and difficult to get around. seemingly the processor of a mac is much better than pc but if its not broke dont fix it i say

yes, and i did shoot a lot in raw. but hdr on people never really works that well and it looks very obviously processed, think the photos of them in action is good enough for the newspaper and magazines to not have to worry about the background colours and lights

So, would it help to make a RAW image and then use that to create a pseudo HDR, thereby exposing both the background and the players? (You did a video about that too)

so would you end up making three versions and then make them hdr to get the lights the way we see?? or is that something that you wouldn’t be concerned with?

Dom… again a great video… and i imagine (judging from the other photog’s) you got some shots that they did not .. i.e the panoramic of the theather etc. A few questions…

Did you bracket any shots or use burst mode ( did not sound like it) your shots look great… and your appear to have good timing.

How did you get this assignment? what i mean is did they see your website/ youtube/flickr etc. I bet it is interesting to see where people hear/find out about you to hire you.

Im in 8th grade so not high school but kinda not really close. I like theater better, but I’m in tech which is something for you to consider. When my drama teacher asked me if i wanted to do get behind the soundboard it sounded boring at first and I wanted by be on stage like the other kids, but I gave a shot and its awesome. Now i’m in charge of sound and light at my school. Added bonus, on some days half of school is working on the tech stuff which is super easy but time consuming so I can get out of a lot of class. Obviously if you want to be on stage that’s fine, but give tech a shot you can always get out of it later.

Theater nets you very little in terms of life experience, where photography gets you a skill which you can put to use immediately to earn money. With that money you can take acting classes at any time in your life, if that’s still your wish.
