All car manufacturers on busy making energy-efficient hybrid cars. Ford, Honda and Toyota are at the forefront of producing cars that combine style hybrid engine that ran gasoline and electricity. Even cars basically have two machines that share a mechanism to provide power to the wheels.

These cars use gasoline while charging the battery needs or when the car needs extra power, say for overtaking or going uphill, but they automatically shut off the gasoline engine and electric machine when the mains power supply could be enough to achieve what you need a car to do, like sliding in city traffic or normal, not in a hurry driving. Batteries are charged by the gasoline engine, the braking and by plugging into the national grid.

Trucks more natural to use large volumes of gasoline from the car and making it more likely to save much higher for. The difficulty is that the electric motor is not really strong enough to be able to fully take over from the gasoline engine when more power is needed to push a fully laden truck.

If you’re not too worried about the high cost of buying a hybrid car, then you should buy one just to do your bit for the environment, but if you want to buy one to save on your fuel bills, you’ll have to get a calculator out and do the amount of your heart the liver.
