Unless your name is John Grisssom or Margaret Mitchell, you can forget it. Sorry, but B&N will only do things that makes them money.

I read all of the Rachal Morgan books by Kim Harrison and the first book was great and they get progressively worse. Don’t think I’ll buy the next one.

I saw the Kim Harrison book at the thrift store for $1, but I don’t think I would like it. I’ve read that the first few books are good, but they start lagging on the last books

I work at a bookstore and we call that smaller size you don’t like “mass-market bound.” They’re cheaper to buy but they’re also cheaply made, so they don’t stand up to too many re-readings. You’ll notice the binding cracks really easily. Most popular titles are published in this edition (as well as full sized paperback and hardback). I own a few of them because of the cost, but if I really love the book, I’ll shill out a few extra bucks for a copy I can read again and again.

    Go to http://www.barnesandnoble.com.
At the top of that screen, next to “Barnes and Noble” are the words “My Account/Sign In.” If you don’t have an account with them, create one. If you do, sign in.
Search for “Lord of the Flies” and pick the specific edition you want to review (if there is a specific edition you want to review). Otherwise, click on any edition.
At the top of that page, it will give the title, author, edition, etc., next to a picture of the cover. It will give the number of ratings and the overall opinion of the book. Click on “Write a Review”. That is where you post the review.
When you are done, you need to officially sign out.
