1. Introduction:
If you just take the camera for the first time, or have been taking pictures for years, the information contained in this manual will ensure that you do not ignore anything that you frame and shoot the picture. Take your photos to the next level, by using multiple computers, no special filters, and clip art for free, we will guide you through the steps to create images like the one on the cover of this book is as easy as 1-2 -3
.When displaying your vehicle at the show, fans like you pay attention to every detail to shine on the bolt to ensure that the car is perfect. Your final image quality depends on your attention to details. Every time we take photos for the client and create their unique art we do exactly the same. Starting with the right photo is key and we will give some often overlooked aspects of automotive photography. Remember that you should start with the right photo to get good results and great
2. Basic Digital Photography For Car:
There are two assumptions made here. The first is, that you are interested in color photography and the second is that you have read the owners manual of your camera and understand the features and capabilities at least at a basic level. By saying that the intent of this guide is to help you get started by taking photos and get the best results. Before we continue, there is one thing that is often ignored until too late that would damage the big picture. Turn off the date and time stamp features. You can be sure that he would always take the picture or in the wrong place where no amount of editing can account for it
.
The focus here is to start with the best of all possibilities and use the camera to the fullest. This does not mean that you need to spend $ 2000 on cameras and special lenses, but by no means take advantage of your camera’s ability to provide the best. Even the $ 100 camera can make a good small print. Once you understand the features of your camera’s menu and how to navigate back and reread the quality of the picture again. Once you understand the part that set the camera to the BEST possible mode
2.3. Always Use Flash-Well Usually
No matter if you use a standard film camera, or digital camera you want to make sure that your camera ALWAYS uses the flash. The only possible exception to this would be for indoor photography where there is a prominent lighting halogen or else you may have to experiment with. To force you to use your camera flash set your camera to “FORCE Flash” or “Fill flash”, not “Auto Flash”. Flash is often represented by the symbol “lightning”. Automatic flash will determine whether the flash goes off based on the amount of light detected. When we tell you to use your flash in the sun, auto flash will almost never turn on because it will think there is adequate lighting. Using the flash helps to illuminate the shadow areas, as well as minimizing any glare lighting along with the overall balance. Flash Force should be used to image the exterior, cockpit shots, and shot the engine bay.
You write and shoot that shot the engine bay and then realize when you’re working with photos then that all you see if the above machine and nothing more. The flash will make the steering box, headers and other components stand out and increase the detail of the machine and make the color more prominent. The following examples show the difference with and without flash. In the first image and the image a bit washed out with no blue so blue and red and other colors are not all that brilliant. 2.7. Filter lenses and ShadesIf you have to take photos in bright sunlight, like a car show on the outside, using a lens color and strength to overcome the harsh sunlight. Another alternative to use especially if your flash is not powerful enough flash is to use a polarizing filter instead of flash. Polarizing filter is one of the most useful filters for outdoor photography and is a requirement for any serious photographer, especially for those using digital cameras. A polarizing filter will reduce glare and make colors stand out in the sun’s harsh conditions. This filter can significantly reduce the white-out or wash-out (the surface with a base color all washed) as a bright reflection. Some deficiencies can be edited and touch the photo above, however, this deficiency is almost impossible to remove after the fact and make look natural
.
second important tool to have in your camera bag is the color of the lens. A cheap lens color and attached at the end of your lens to keep excess light from entering the lens directly. It basically provides a tunnel which protects the optics (lens), and because black absorbs any light bouncing. This helps the camera to better detect the light level subjects
3 .. Photo Shoot – How We Work With What We Have
Now that you have a general understanding of how to use your camera, lets focus on where, when, and how to obtain an optimal environment. There are some things within our control, and others are not, and at one time they can change. It is important that we discuss each element so you can decide what to do given your situation. The elements of lighting, location, and position of the car. If you are restricted to certain times of the day, then you are many who do not have control over the lighting, or did you. If you are photographing a vehicle on the show, you may be limited to the position and location. Ideally you want the best lighting, optimum flexibility with the position of the vehicle. Lastly, if you will remove the background from the final print, a clean background to edit as desired. This section will help you take advantage of any flexibility and optimizes your shooting environment provided

3.1. Choose The Right Lighting
Given that we are focusing on color photography, proper lighting is important. In fact proper lighting actually means LOTS OF LIGHT, and the correct type of light. Without proper lighting is almost impossible to have the award-winning photos, even one that has been touched with the best photo editing tools. When it comes to lighting you want to have even distribution of light over the entire surface of the car. These lights turn on all fronts, not loud or flashy and do not cause shadows. Sunlight is at a low angle like the sunrise or sunset is often the best. This low-angle light covering the surface with a light hand. Sunlight is high in the sky like the harsh midday sun should be avoided or you will have glaring reflections. This led to the harsh light that washed over the surface, and a lower area with a dark shadow excessive. The ultimate goal is a low angle, soft, evenly distributed light that illuminates the entire vehicle. Also remember to keep the sun behind you and watch out for your own shadow
3.2. Choosing this location
Color lighter the better the soil surface area lighting will be lower and less lower body panel shadowing due to light reflected upward. Parking of vehicles on light-colored concrete surface versus a dark asphalt surface this is a great benefit as well as creating a profile stand out due to black rubber tires from the surface of the lighter. This reflection will better illuminate the lower area including undercarriage and minimize shadows
The goal for many of the photographs entered into the fantasy scene. To remove background and has a stand-alone vehicle. It is important that there is no stick in front of each section of the vehicle and cause obstruction. Unless your final print will be your car on grass, do not take your picture on a lawn or grassy field. Blades of grass will hide the bottom of the tire as well as produce reflections and irregular shadows in the bottom panel and any reflective surfaces such as bumpers. This also applies if you take pictures in the gravel area. Tires can slightly suppress the surface to hide the bottom
.
3.3. This vehicle position
Garden
vehicle away from anything that will cause a reflection on it. For example, the white stripes parking lots will be reflected on the side panel and the glass. Signs of any buildings or even trees will be reflected and even if they are not clear, they will end up looking like a body of work is distorted in the final print. Remember that your car can be like a mirror and a lot of things around will show up as a reflection and then take the final image
. Position
vehicle for best lighting. Remember that you want to always take pictures of the sun and not the shadow side (sun is always behind you). This may require you to change the position of the vehicle during a photo shoot for optimum lighting from all sides. Ensure that the area that you are photographing (ie front / side, etc.) that is positioned for best lighting
.
3.5. What Should You Take The angle
Take a series of photos with all the doors, hood, trunk completely covered. This series should include the following shots (see sample image). In this section we will include recent photographs that were created to help you jump ahead and begin to visualize what can be done when you look at a different angle. These are just some of the compositions, and many more combinations can be created using a different background and inclusion / exclusion of various elements. Just use your imagination, and eventually you will be able to see the vehicle and have a good idea of what the final print will look like

Ask and question
I am a medical student that really interested in graphic editing, multimedia, etc and I think I got a little talent on drawing. Presently, I always used Photoshop & Flash MX for those things but I just draw things with my basic optical mouse. I feel like I’m quite limited to put on some details on my arts (sometimes took half an hour to complete something I draw with pencil on paper for 10 minutes)
So, I kinda looking for recommendations on type of tablet that might fulfill my requirements. Heard that WACOM tablets are good but seems lot of types present, I dont really know which is better. I’m also looking for something that wont cost too much as I am a student

@CiaranPaulRoche At the time I was new to drawing at age 9 – 12 I didn’t know what was hot and what’s not but it all seemed like practice up until in my highschool years and that’s when I had to step my game up. At age 22 I quit drawing cause it couldn’t get me a high paying job and that was a sad part in my life. I hope someone makes it out there. Never give up on your dreams man.
